Vice President of Production
Matrix - University of Texas Fashion Show 2019
In May 2019 I was appointed as Vice President of Production for University Fashion Group. I served from May 2018 to May 2019 and faced many opportunities as well as a few challenges during that time. I worked closely with the director of the fashion show to plan every detail of the university’s fashion show, excluding the venue. As VP, I oversaw five teams that coordinated casting, set design, music, budget, and HMU for the show. I also worked alongside the VP of Communications and an ESPN Associate Producer to write the script for the televised portion of the show. In addition, I created a D-Day timeline that included contacts, activations, and responsibilities that each team was responsible for. I was also able to promote the show on a segment of the local news station, CBS Austin, which can be found here. The show took place at the Frank Erwin Center on April 25, 2019, with approximately 3,000 people in attendance. During the show I worked backstage lining up models and ensuring that all quick changes ran smoothly. The show was written up by Orange Magazine, Fashionably Austin, Tribeza, and Austin Culture Map, and was broadcasted on Longhorn Network by ESPN.
Challenges that arose were mostly rooted in the differing work ethics among members of the production team. As the team leader, I had to find a way to bridge the gap between those who were organized and those who were more creative. At the end of my time as VP Production, I created a handbook that outlines all of the responsibilities of the position.

Bureau Betak Production Volunteer
Alexander Wang SS 2018
In Fall 2017 I had the opportunity to volunteer with Bureau Betak in New York for Alexander Wang's #WANGFEST. This event took place on September 9, 2017 and was spectacular. Models walked the streets in various locations around the city before finally ending up at an unassuming space in Brooklyn. I was present at this space the morning of the event to help with setup. Later in the evening I assisted with activations and monitored VIP guest needs.
