Today's the Day!
So I'm sitting in the airport terminal in Houston; my flight is delayed, I'll probably miss my connecting flight, and I'm panicking that I forgot to pack something, but what else is new. I am so incredibly excited to be traveling to Barcelona, but at the same time, I'm nervous to be traveling to a new country on my own. I have to say though, mom didn't cry when she dropped me off, so it can't be too bad.
Let me begin this experience by saying that I am not an avid blogger. Quite frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing. It's going to be messy and a bit all over the place, but that's just how life is sometimes. I started this blog to share my experience studying abroad, so here's a quick snapshot of what I'll be doing for the next six weeks:
I will be studying International Marketing and Consumer Behavior at ESADE. One of my classes will be taught by UT faculty and the other will be taught by ESADE.
I will be staying in Barcelona, Spain, about three miles away from the beach (I know, life is hard sometimes).
I will be traveling to Marrakesh (Morocco), Paris, and Ibiza on the weekends during my program. (Feel free to share any recommendations you might have!!)
After the program, my family and I will be traveling to Italy, Greece, France, and the United Kingdom.
I will try to post updates at least once a week with photos, videos, and hopefully some funny stories.
I know this post is a bit anti-climatic but there it is. I am so excited to share this experience with you!
xx
