Event Production Manager

Dinin', Dancin' & Supportin' Event

During the summer of 2017 I had the opportunity to work for Tribe & Glory, a non-profit that empowers female entrepreneurs in Uganda. I coordinated with the Head of US Operations to produce their first annual fundraiser. This project was extremely hands-on, and I was able to play a role in every part of production. The event, which took place on August 3, 2017 at Firehouse Saloon in Houston, Texas, raised over $26,000 for women in Uganda.

Responsibilities

• Created production timeline

• Researched, toured, and selected venue

• Hired talent to perform during the event

• Created promotional images and invitation

• Curated blog post and email promotion

• Designed all forms and signage for silent auction

• Coordinated catering and drink allocations

• Sought out donations for silent auction

• Designed event layout and order of events for the night

• Managed 10 volunteers for the event
