la dolce far niente

Welcome to Alex and Kelsey’s 25th Birthday

  • So, what's the plan?

We will be staying in East Hampton (exact address is 22 Mile Hill Road East Hampton, NY 11937) from Thursday, June 23rd to Sunday, June 26th. Technically we will have the house starting Sunday, June 19th, so if anyone wants or needs to arrive before Thursday, that is possible.

  • Great. How do I get there?

The easiest way to get to East Hampton from NYC is the LIRR out of Penn Station. More info on train times can be found here, but it might be easiest to download the LIRR MTA app, where you can check train times and purchase a ticket. Once at the East Hampton train station, we can pick you up and take you to the house! The train is honestly one of the most fun parts of the trip out to the Hamptons; everyone uses it as a pregame. The expected train time is about two hours and 45 minutes and it can get a little crowded, so it’s always best to be waiting at Penn Station for the platform number to be announced and then run to grab a seat. Exhilarating. On Sunday we can find a train time that works for everyone. If people need to leave Sunday, it might be easiest to fly out of LGA so that you can take a cab or Uber from Jamaica station (it’s about 10 min from the train station to the airport).

  • Okay...what do I need to pack?

I’m SO glad you asked. I’ve been building out a Pinterest board here for some outfit inspiration. The tentative plan is to have a more chill dinner at the house on Thursday with lots of wine. Friday will be spent around East Hampton, and will hopefully include a wine tour at Wölffer Estate during the day. That evening we will do dinner somewhere pretty casual. Saturday we will be in Montauk, mostly by the beach. I’m hoping we can snag lunch at Sel Rrose and dinner at Crow’s Nest, followed by a table at Ruschmeyers to end the night.
